Gov Bala Mohammed Flags off Re-Election Campaign  in Gamawa

Gamawa Local Government Area of Bauchi State stood still on Thursday 12th January, 2023 as Governor Bala Mohammed flagged off his re-election campaign amidst tumultuous crowd of PDP party faithful that thronged Gamawa event square to witness the commencement of the event.

Addressing the marmot crowd, Governor Bala said he was humbled by the demonstration of love exhibited by the people of Gamawa and his other supporters which he described as “good omen” to kickstart the campaign.

The Governor said that since he assumed office, the policy thrust of his administration is tilted towards provision of improved basic health care and education, water supply, sanitation and hygiene, and infrastructural development.

“To the best of our ability and the limited resources available, we are able to achieve appreciable level of our campaign promises in that direction”.

“Here I am again seeking for your support to elect us back in order to consolidate on what we have started”.

The Governor assured the people that at the moment, his administration is focused in turning the fortunes of the State by creating enabling environment to make it an investment-friendly State through it’s infrastructural development drive.

The Governor also attributed the successes recorded to the tremendous support the administration is receiving from traditional institutions, religious and community leaders, groups and individuals.

In their separate remarks, the State PDP Chairman Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam and the Director General of the Governor’s 2023 Gubernatorial Campaign Council, Faruq Mustapha extolled leadership qualities of the Governor, calling on the electorates to ensure that PDP emerged victorious during the election.

The Governor had earlier visited palaces of District Heads of Udubo and Gamawa to seek for their blessings and support.
