The Students Union Government (SUG) President of Federal University Dutse (FUD) Comrade Muhammad Muktar Umar has advised new Students of the institution to be focused in their studies and shun all vices that may distract them from achieving their life ambitions.
Comrade Umar gave the advice recently during the 2020/2021 matriculation ceremony of 100 level students along side management of the school.
In a press statement signed and issued by the spokesperson of the SUG President, Aisha Bashir Hassan, it said that the president took time to counsel the new students on how they should go about conducting themselves in good manners and character that is associated with the core values of the institution’s drive for excellence.

Comrade Umar assured the new students that their welfare in terms of accommodation, utilities and learning environment is of paramount importance to the SUG and school management.
While wishing them successful journey in their academic pursuit, the SUG President implore them to take pride in their institution wherever they find themselves.
He also wish all the students luck as they prepare for their first semester exams that is around the corner, stressing that they should read hard in order to attain good grades.
