A level 500 student of the Department of Computer engineering , Ahmadu Bello University Zaria , Abdullahi Ahmad Bello has emerged winner of the world student”s competition on Artificial Intelligence (AI) held in republic of China.
Abdullahi who hails from Babura LGA in jigawa state had earlier emerged the winner of the regional competition held in South Africa.
Presenting the winner before Jigawa state executive council, the state commissioner for Higher Education Dr Isa Yusuf Chamo said, Abdullahi emerged winner at the world competition which was participated by 42 countries.
He told the state governor that, Abdullahi Ahmad and Adam Isa Adam of Roni Local government who also participated in the competition are proudly sons of Jigawa state and they are reflection of the state government huge investment in education and new hope for better future.
In his comment, Governor Umar Namadi expressed his happiness for the new innovation created by the student which made him to emerged winner at the world AI student competition.
Governor Namadi added that Jigawa state government and all good people of the state are proud of Abdullahi Ahmad Bello and Adam Isa Adam for their academic excellence.

Governor Namadi also offered them scholarship for Masters and PHd as soon as they finished their first degree.
In his remarks the winner of the world Artificial Intelligence AI Competition Abdullahi Ahmad Bello revealed that, some of the invention he made included, developing AI software that can detect Breast Cancer,
He also developed Robot that can detect flood wave before it occur and an AI eye glasses that can convert written script into voice, with three different languages namely Hausa , Yoruba and English.
Abdullahi also thanks Jigawa state government for it’s support and encouragement and promised to continue make Jigawa proud of it’s children and use their skills and knowledge for finding solution to human and ecological challenges
