Not fewer than 20 young ladies received their certificates of participation at the end of 4 months mentorship and skills acquisition program organised by a Bauchi based NGO, Attah Sisters Helping Hand (ASHH) Foundation in collaboration with Rotary Club of Bauchi Central. The activity was under ASHH Foundation’s training program tagged “Ignite Her Potential” (IHP).

Speaking at the graduation ceremony which was held at ASHH Foundation conference hall, its Executive Director (ED) Ambassador Comfort Attah said that the program was aimed at empowering young girls and boys to reach their full potential through mentorship in various entrepreneurial skills.
Attah said that in the course of the training, the beneficiaries had showcased their innovative skills and sharing experiences from their recently completed pet projects at the community level.

In his goodwill message, Bauchi State Commissioner of Youths and Sports, Muhammad Salis Gamawa congratulated the beneficiaries of the mentorship program and implore them to apply what they learnt with a view to becoming successful entrepreneurs.
The Commissioner encouraged the graduands to be innovative in the different enterprise that they wish to pursue.
Salis Gamawa also pledged to put in a good word across the State Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to see how the State can harvest the knowledge gained by the graduands.
He commended ASHH Foundation and Rotary Club Bauchi for their foresight in targeting the young people for the mentorship program
In his remarks during the occasion, former President of Rotary Club of Bauchi Central, Rotarian Nwobi Chuckwunonso described the graduation ceremony as a milestone that marks the practical application of the knowledge and skills the beneficiaries had acquired over the past four months.

Rotarian Chuckwunonso said that the program is in line with the Rotary cardinal objective of touching lives in a positive manner across all segments of humanity
While congratulating the graduands, Rotarian Chuckwunonso urged them to also cascade the knowledge they acquired in their respective communities.
There were also goodwill messages from representatives from the Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development and Development Exchange Center (DEC), Bauchi State. Also, representatives of community leaders and parents of graduands delivered their goodwill messages at the ceremony.
High points of the occasion include:
- Presentations from the graduands showcasing the skills and knowledge they acquired
- Practical skills exhibitions demonstrating expertise by graduands
- Presentation of certificates to the Ambassadors of IHP 2024
- Presentation of certificates to all graduands and
- Special recognition of the best group within the graduands
