Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano state has announced that Kano State will soon have a State Elders Council with Ganduje, Kwankwaso and Shekarau to serve as founding members.
The Governor disclosed this in Abuja at the weekend while fielding questions from Journalists, stressing that his administration has concluded plan to establish the Council.
According to the Governor, the new council which would serve as an advisory body to the administration will draw membership from Ex-Governors and their Deputies.
When fully established, the presidential candidate of New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP during the 2023 general election, Dr. Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, National Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullah Umar Ganduje and former senator, representing Kano Central, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau would automatically form a pioneer members.
