Opposition parties in the Northern Senatorial Zone of Bauchi State have continued to shower praises on Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State for his decision to procured 89, 889 25k bags of rice that is currently being shared to vulnerable target groups across the State, under the Federal Government fuel subsidy removal program.
Our correspondent, who monitored the distribution exercise in the Northern Senatorial zone observed that the exercise was conducted in a peaceful manner with many key stakeholders in the areas describing it as seamless.
In an interview with the Chairman of NNPP in Itas/Gadau LGA, Alhaji Sabo Ibrahim said that Governor Bala has proved to all those that were having misgivings on the sharing process wrong.

Ibrahim said that they have been following up on the distribution and have discovered that the distribution of the rice palliative was carried beyond political party affiliations and other sentiments.
He also commended Governor Bala Mohammed for the bridge Government constructed, easing connectivity with other communities.
Alhaji Sale Supa, chairman of APC in Gamawa LGA also shared his thoughts on the just concluded distribution exercise in the Northern Senatorial Zone of the State, saying that, hunger knows no any political affinity and that Governor Bala Mohammed has been innovative in targeting beneficiaries of the palliative from their polling units.
The Chairman then appealed to the beneficiaries to share a measure or two with their neighbors in the spirit of humanity.
Supa then enjoined the distribution committee to sustain the tempo with which they started the exercise and replicate the same process in other Local Government Areas across the state.
Also speaking with our correspondent in Jama’are LGA when she flagged off the distribution yesterday, the Bauchi State Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka that so far, the distribution exercise is recording a tremendous success.

She attributed the successes recorded so far, to the meticulous planning of the high powered committee set up by Governor Bala Mohammed, under the leadership of Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu and the State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Auwal Mohammed Jatau.
Wanka also appreciated the support and cooperation of all the respective Local Government caretaker committee chairmen for their doggedness and perseverance in assisting the distribution committee that visited their LGAs.
The Commissioner then assured that the committee will continue with the distribution exercise in the two remaining Senatorial zones of the state until all targeted beneficiaries are being given their share of the rice palliative.
