Community Applauds Public Spirited Individual for Setting up Pharmacy to Dispense Subsidized Drugs, other Medical Consumables in Bauchi

Residents of Kobi and Ilelah settlements in Bauchi Local Government Area have continue to shower encomiums and best wishes to a public spirited personality (who crave for anonymity) for single handily establishing a pharmacy outfit in the area known as Ko’ile Pharmaceutical Services, situated at Kobi Street

This is coming on the heels of the commencement of operations at the pharmacy shop that is meant to dispense drugs and other consumables at a subsidized rate.

Speaking to our correspondent on the development, Chairman of a Socio-cultural Association known as Ko’ile Development Forum, Mallam Mustapha Abubakar said the establishment of the pharmacy was a landmark achievement not only to the benefactor, but also to Ko’ile Development Forum.

He said the individual that set up the pharmacy is a bona-fide and active member of the forum who always expressed his concerns on the plight of the less privileged in the community.

The chairman then called on members of the community to always contribute their quota for the development of the community stressing that, “we should always remember the community that nurtured us, by giving back to the community in any positive way we can”.

Another member of the Forum, Mallam Aliyu Abubakar Kobi , while commending the giant effort of the individual that established the pharmacy, prayed for Allah to reward him for providing such life saving establishment.

“It is indeed heart warming to know that we still have such people in our midst that thinks about the less privileged in our communities. May Allah reward him for what he has done to his community, said Mallam Abubakar.

Also, a resident of Anguwan Jaki, Mallam Umar Sa’du described the establishment of the pharmacy shop as a great development that should be emulated by other well to individuals in their respective communities. Such gestures complement Government efforts in making health care service accessible to citizens of Bauchi State.

“I do really commend the effort of the person that set up this pharmacy shop for the dispensing of subsidized drugs to under served members of the community. Such efforts should be emulated and encourage. I just hope that the community would reciprocate this humanitarian gesture by being honest in accessing medications. People should not abuse such privileges”, said Sa’idu.

Mallam Isa Garba Gadau on his part also showers his encomiums to the benefactor of the of the Ko’ile Pharmaceutical Services and call for more of such positive contributions to the growth of communities.

“I pray Allah to reward the benefactor of Ko’ile Pharmacy and also urge other public spirited individuals, humanitarian organisations and other corporate bodies in our communities to support the sustainability of such efforts by way of donating drugs and other medical consumables to Ko’ile Pharmaceuticals to be sold at a subsidized price to the downtrodden in our community”, Isa Gadau said.

Our correspondent reports that already members of the public are accessing the services being rendered by Ko’ile Pharmaceutical Services, which is duly licensed by the pharmacists council of Nigeria.
