The embattled Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Ilya Damagun has taunted Nigerians for accepting wrappers and spaghetti and voting the current leadership of the country which he described as bad governance
Ambassador Danagum stated this in Bauchi while speaking with Journalists shortly after a closed door meeting he and the PDP Chairmen of the North East had with Governor Bala Mohammed at the Government House Bauchi.
The delegation, comprising PDP Chairmen from Adamawa, Bauchi, Gombe, Yobe, and Borno States, met with Governor Bala Mohammed to discuss the challenges facing the party and explore ways to strengthen its structures in the region and the country.
He said that those that accepted wrappers and spaghetti are the worst hit under the current dispensation, pointing out that the current hardship being experienced in the country should be a wake up call to always vote competent and visionary leadership to steer the Affairs of Nigeria.
The acting chairman also emphasized the importance of unity within the PDP, stating that the meeting aimed to address critical issues and reinforce the PDP’s position in the country.
Governor Bala Mohammed expressed his gratitude for the visit, reaffirming his commitment to supporting the PDP and its leadership.
He pledged the Forum’s continuous backing of the party’s National Working Committee and its efforts to move the party forward.
