The House of Representatives, Deputy Minority Whips, Rt Hon Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya has been honoured with a leadership Award as “The Most Notable and Top Distinguished Education Leader of the 21st Century” by the Student Union Government, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun state.
The vibrant deputy minority whip, is representing the good people of Ijebu North, Ijebu East and Ogun Waterside at the National Assembly, Abuja, he was described as a man of honour, who has love for education and empowerment of youths, students and less privileged to be self reliant cutting across the country.
While conferring the awards on Rt Hon Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya, Comrade Awoyemi Oluwabunmi popularly known as Pablo, The Student Union President of OOUSUG, noted that the recognitions were based on Rt Hon Adekoya’s immense contributions to the global knowledge industry through Higher Education.
Also, The insignia of the awards included certificates and recommendation note.
According to The leader of National Association of Nigerian Students NANS present at the awards ceremony, Comrade Adeyemi Samson stated that Rt Hon Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya is a shining example of diligence, excellence, and competence from whom the present and future generations will continue to draw inspiration.
While responding to the presentation of awards, Rt Hon Adesegun Abdel-Majid Adekoya appreciated the Student Union Government of the prestigious institution, Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOUSUG for deeming him worthy of the honour, He promised to continue his selfless services to humanity in all walks of life.
