With the pegging of it’s new JAMB cut-off mark required for admission from 160 to 150, Federal University Kashere in Gombe State is now set to admit over three thousand students in the 2021/2022 academic session.
The Registrar of the Federal University Alhaji Kabiru Garba Aminu disclosed this in a live Radio Progamme, “Bakonmu na Yau” hosted by Bauchi Radio Corporation.

Aminu implored Bauchi state indigenes wishing to undergo their undergraduate studies to strive harder to meet the basic requirements of the various institutions of their choice across the country.
The registrar explained that students from Bauchi State are considered for admission in the university either based on their merit or for being in the catchment area and educationally less developed state categories.
Alhaji Aminu also announced the introduction of seven new additional courses in the university that includes Mass Communication and called on interested students to take advantage of the newly introduced courses.
Alhaji Kabiru Garba said out of the over forty federal government universities across the country, Federal University Kashere has been doing well in terms of students’ admission and academic research which assist towards the nation building.
On employment of new staff, the registrar explained that the institution is yet to commence new recruitment in all categories of its workforce.

He therefore cautioned the general public not to allow themselves to be tempted by people of dubious character who take any slightest opportunity that comes their way to defraud them.
