The permanent secretary said his ministry is ready to partner with any member of the forum, as well as corporate bodies who are into Agricultural practice or any Agro-Allied Services in Bauchi State.

“Here in the Bauchi State ministry of Agriculture, our doors are open to any partnership that could boost food security. To this end, i am calling on our former school mates to try their hands on agriculture, in order to ensure food sufficiency on the home front, the state and the nation at large”.

“Our goal here in the Bauchi State Ministry of Agriculture is to ensure food security at all times. Any of our member who is into agriculture and wants to partner with the ministry should reach out to us”, said Abdullahi.

The permanent secretary also thanked the old students forum for honouring him and his colleagues at the just concluded maiden edition of the Students Reunion held during the Christmas break.

Earlier in a short remark before presenting the plaque to the permanent secretary, the chairman of the Reunion Organizing Committee, Brigadier General Umar Gital Yusuf said they were in the office to correct the anomaly observed during the reunion meeting, where the name of the permanent secretary was omitted among the lists of the recipients.
