Towards enhancing the existing close cooperation. between two sister Agencies, the Executive Secretary of the Bauchi State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris has expressed his delight in the collaboration with the Christian pilgrims Board in the state.
A press statement signed by Muhammad Sani Yunusa, Information officer of board said that, Imam Abdurrahman was speaking recently when he received in audience, the Executive Secretary Bauchi State Christian Pilgrims Baord, Hon. Samuel J. Haruna who paid him a courtesy visit in his office .
Imam Abdurrahman described the two organisations as a twins brothers, charged with responsibility of ensuring the welfare of the state pilgrims.
The ES applauded His Excellency Sen. Bala Muhammad, the Executive Governor of Bauchi State for his continues support and encouragement towards their success, assuring the Governor on their commitment to deliver quality services to pilgrims,
Earlier, in his speech the, Executive Secretary of the Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board said the visit was aimed at congratulating the ES on his recent appointment as the new Executive’s Secretary by His Excellency and emphasized the need for them to unite.
In a similar development Imam Idris has interacted with Hajj affairs Officers from the 20 Local Government in Bauchi State held at the conference hall of the Board.
The Executive Secretary charged them to rededicate them selves to their official responsibilities In order to ensure a successful Hajj operation.
Imam Abdurrahman reminded them that most of the intending pilgrims came from remote areas with little or no knowledge on social and spiritual aspect of hajj.
He expressed optimism that the contributions of local Government hajj Affairs Officers towards educating and enlightening pilgrims will go along way towards achieving hitch free hajj operation and enable our pilgrims have acceptable hajj (hajj mabrur) that prophet Muhammad SAW Said has no rewards except Aljanna.
