….. Condole Family of Deceased Student

Students Union Government (SUG) President of Federal University Dutse (FUD), Comrade Muhammad Mukhtar Umar has called on the Federal Government to redouble efforts in providing security in all it’s educational institutions across the country.
The call was made by the SUG President in Abuja while speaking to Journalists shortly after attending the National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS) security summit in Abuja.
A press statement signed and issued by the spokesperson of the SUG President Aisha Bashir Hassan, quoted Umar as saying, that it is only a secured learning environment that could guarantee absolute concentration to absorb what is being taught in schools.

Though Comrade Umar commended Federal Government in addressing security challenges in the country, he said more innovative methods should be deployed to counter insecurities in school environments.
The SUG President commended the leadership of NANS for convening the summit and further assured students of FUD of his regime’s total commitment to their welfare.
The statement further said that, the SUD President and his entourage took time from the summit to condole the family of FUD student that lost his life recently.
The deceased , Adamu Abdullahi, was a 100 level student of FUD, from Department of Economics, in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of the institution.
The statement said that Late Abdullahi died as a result of injuries he sustained due to gas explosion that claimed three lives.

During the condolence visit, Umar prayed for forgiveness for the deceased and beseech Allah to comfort the family for the irreparable loss.
