Nigerian Ambassador Presents Letter of Credence to President Felix of Congo

The Nigerian Ambassador appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Republic of Congo, Engr Omar Suleiman has officially presented his letter of Credence to President Felix Tshisekedi.
The Envoy, in a Phone interview with our correspondent said the official exercise has marked the commencement of his resolve to hit the ground running in building bilateral ties in the area of mineral products Congo is known for and other areas where Nigeria has comparative advantages.
According to him Mineral Products constitute most of the country’s total exports and Diamonds account for almost one-half of the trade revenue, these are some of the areas the duo countries will establish stronger ties.
He said the Republic of Congo is also good in copper, cobalt, gold, Coltan, Zinc, Tin, Tungsten, and good in consumer products which include textiles, Plastics, Footwear, Processed foods, beverages so many that can attract Nigerian investors.
“I presented a letter of my credence with which President Muhammad Buhari appointed me as Ambassador to the Republic of Congo”, said the envoy.
