Misau Emirate Council Crown Senior Civil Servant as Walin Gabas

A senior civil servant with the Bauchi State Government, Alhaji Mohammad Kabir Ahmed has been appointed by the Emir of Misau, Alhaji Ahmed Suleiman (MNI) as the Walin Gabas of Misau Emirate.

In a letter of appointment from the emirate council dated 2nd December and made available to journalists in Bauchi, the council said that the appointment of Ahmed was in recognition of the his desire to add value, progress and development to the people of Misau.

The Emirate Council implore Alhaji Ahmed to be a good ambassador of the council and bring his wealth of experience in justifying his appointment as a traditional title holder.

“We are wishing you well in your new title of Walin Gabas and pray for Allah’s guidance in the discharge of your responsibilities”.

Alhaji Kabir Ahmed, who is a member of the royalty, is from the clan of Mohammad Manga the first, of the ruling class of Gwani Mukhtar.

An accomplished accountant, Alhaji Kabir Ahmed is the current coordinator, Direct Reporting and Special Duties in the office of the executive chairman, Bauchi State Internal Revenue Services (BSIR).

Ahmed is fellow of numerous professional bodies that includes Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation and a member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.

As a sports enthusiast, Kabir Ahmed is a match commissioner with Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and has spent so much time, energy and financial resources in the development of sports in Bauchi State.

Our correspondent reports that apart from the respected title of Walin Gabas of Misau emirate, he is also the Sarkin Dawakin Sarakin Bauchi.

 

A successful farmer with years of experience, Kabir Ahmed is happily married and blessed with ten children.
