Eid-El-Kabir: Bauchi Deputy Gov Calls for Sacrifice, Unity Among People

In Bauchi State,  Eid-El-Adha also known as Eid-El-Kabir was marked with a call on Muslim to use the occasion for sacrifice, reflection, and promote unity.

The State Deputy Governor Muhammad Auwal Jatau made the call shortly after observing the two raka’at Prayer at Bauchi Central Eid Ground along side Emir of Bauchi Dr. Rilwanu Sulaimanu Adamu, Secretary to the State Government Aminu Hammayo and other traditional title holders in the Emirate Council.

Muhammad Auwal Jatau congratulated the Muslims for witnessing the 1446 AH Eid-El-Kabir, urging them to reflect on the virtues of Prophet Ibrahim, who exemplified faith, obedience, and sacrifice which  was the central massage of the season.

He used the opportunity to felicitate with the State Governor Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed and the entire people of the state on the occasion of this important Islamic festival.

He encouraged residents to remain law-abiding and promote peace and harmony during the celebrations.
