With the airlift of intending pilgrims imminent, The State Amirul-Hajj and Emir of Jama’are, Alhaji Nuhu Muhammadu Wabi, has tasked Hajj Affairs Officers from Bauchi’s 20 Local Government Areas with supporting the state government’s efforts to guarantee a successful 2025 Hajj exercise.
He was speaking during a meeting with the Hajj affairs officers where he emphasized the importance of diligence and integrity in their dealings with pilgrims, warning against laxity or misconduct.
Alhaji Wabi praised Governor Bala Mohammed for his consistent support for pilgrims’ welfare and commended the State Pilgrims Welfare Board for their dedication to ensuring a smooth Hajj operation.
In a remark, The Executive Secretary of the Board, Imam Abdurrahman Ibrahim Idris, and the State Commissioner for Religious Affairs, Muhammad Binni Abdulkadir, assured improvements based on lessons learned from the previous year’s operations.
The Hajj Affairs Officers pledged their commitment to justify the trust placed in them, with Malam Sani Korau, representing Dass Local Government Area, vowing to work tirelessly to ensure a successful pilgrimage.
