Independence Day: Commissioner Wanka Links Governor Bala’s Leadership to National Progress

As Nigeria commemorates its 65th Independence Anniversary, Hajiya Hajara Yakubu Wanka, Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management in Bauchi State, has felicitated with Governor Bala Mohammed and Nigerians, describing the milestone as a moment for renewed hope and collective progress.

In a goodwill message issued to mark the anniversary, Commissioner Wanka underscored the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, and economic prosperity as Nigeria continues its nation-building journey.

She lauded Governor Bala Mohammed for his visionary approach to governance, citing his investments in infrastructure, social amenities, and economic opportunities as clear indicators of purposeful leadership.

According to her, the forthcoming Bauchi International Investment Summit reflects the governor’s commitment to unlocking the state’s economic potential.

“The summit will not only attract global investors and policymakers but also serve as a platform to showcase Bauchi’s comparative advantages and drive sustainable development,” Wanka stated.

Meanwhile, residents across Bauchi have continued to commend Governor Bala Mohammed’s development-focused leadership, expressing optimism about the state’s trajectory under his administration.
