The course 9 of the Nigerian Army War College have carried out a study tour of Bauchi State.
While in the State, the course participants under the leadership of it’s Commandant Major General Umaru Mohammed Alkali paid a courtesy visit to Governor Bala Mohammed at the Government House.
In his address, Maj. Gen Alkali thanked the Governor for the warm reception and also informed him the purpose of their visit to the State.
He said that it is the tradition of the college to carry our study tours to select States with a view to study some of their policies aimed at entrenching good Governance that cut across all critical human capital sectors , that includes security.
He said their experiences upon arrival in bauchi state is that of peace and stability and that the governor’s commitment to peace across the state would assist the participants greatly in the discharge of their duties particularly solving very complex national security architecture in the country.
Responding, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State thanked the Course 9 participants for the visit.
Governor then took his time and reiterated his administration’s commitment to protection of lives and properties of the citizenry.
Governor bala mohammed in his response appreciated the army war college of nigeria for chosen bauchi state to conduct their study tour and that their findings would also assist the state in restrategizing towards addressing the challenges facing the people security wise.
